This Week was a Curling Match at the Club

Club members were split into three teams with the staff and volunteers making up a fourth.

There are two styles of mat, one a target format and the other with more spot targets of varying values for scoring.

Lots of fun with a bit of the old competitive spirit creeping on to the teams. Well, everyone wants to be a winner but at Gateway we are all winners!

Naturally, there was the usual Tuck Shop break, made special by a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday for one of our members before play resumed.

Unfortunately, I had to leave before the results were added up but not before I got a photograph of one member of staff practising her bowling skills for next week!
