Spiced up bingo with cards!
At Uttoxeter Gateway Club we try to think outside of the box occasionally to spice things up a bit.
Last week we challenged our members by playing a variation on Bingo. Instead of the usual bingo sheets and crossing off the numbers as called, we used playing cards. The members had to put counters on their playing cards when theirs was called out. There was a selection of goodies to be won and judging by the smiley faces it was a good night.
Every month we try to go to the Cinebowl to play 10 pin bowling. This evening is a very popular night and often brings out members we are less likely to see at Wilfred House. A great way to have a chat and catch up with friends and again, judging by the ear to ear smile, another good night out.
Don’t forget your wellies next week we are off to check out some new born lambs!
