Autumn Trip to Llandudno
The Uttoxeter Gateway Autumn Trip to Llandudno
So off we went one cold sunny morning on a day trip to Llandudno.
When we booked it we did not realise it was the weekend the A50 was closed to remove the bridge! It did delay us slightly, but could not be helped.
We all did our own thing when we arrived. My group’s priority was the Pier and the amusement arcades. We went and rolled some 2p coins and waited for lots of winnings to fall! Others headed to the machines that made lots of noise and shot monsters or whatever!
We walked along the sea front enjoying the buskers and street entertainers until it was time for lunch. Naturally it had to be fish and chips for most as we were at the seaside. We found a café and in we went. We were looked after very well and came out full.
We had a walk around the shops, then somebody mentioned ice cream, and it became obvious we weren’t that full, so we had delicious ice creams and enjoyed the afternoon sun.
Back on the coach for the return trip, everyone agreed “a good day was had by all”.
