Warning – Another Scam is About!
Be careful when viewing your phone messages and email as there are many scams out there. We’ve just become aware of another one pretending to be from the NHS about the Covid vaccine. It tries to get your details, including bank/credit card details.
Don’t fall for it!

Zooming Together Every Week
Hi everybody, I bet you have all played bingo, but not how we play it at Gateway, as some of you will know we are on ZOOOOOOOOOM every week at the moment.
This week was BINGO but you had to bring a piece of fruit, a hat and a toilet roll!!
Depending on certain numbers being called, you have to hold up one of the three props we used. Easy I hear you say, try it and you may think differently.
The events programme is on the website but we have gone slightly out of order. Next week we are having a Scavenger Hunt, oh and we are dressing up, why don’t you come and join us?
We meet at 7.00pm on Tuesday evenings; come and see what we get up to.
If you would like anymore details contact Sue on
Our ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM meeting last night was good fun.
We played bingo, but in these times it has to be slightly different so we involved a wooden spoon, a pair of socks and a cuddly toy!!
Next week on Tuesday 19th May, as we should have been going to Skegness this Sunday for a day out, we thought we would go to the beech virtually and have a picnic. So bring everything you would take to the beech with you – hat, sunglasses, towel, ice cream, costume, bat, ball, bucket, spade, etc., and of course the picnic, which we will eat on air. There may also be music and karaoke. Hope the sun shines for us!

Hello Members, Carers, Parents, Trustees, and Supporters.
We will be doing lots of fundraising in November and December, if you have anything that would be good for a raffle or a tombola, please bring to club, or let one of us know and we will collect.
As you know Gateway is a charity and we rely heavily on our Christmas time fundraising, if you have any time to spare and would like to join us, let us know.
On behalf of Gateway
Thank you
Happy New Year to everyone!
Christmas is over for another year and its good to get back into a routine of normal eating. I’m sure we’ve all received gifts that we can’t use ourselves, got over faced by toiletries and other gifts (I know I have !!!!) or maybe you’ve had too many chocolates and too much alcohol. If so, we can take them off your hands and use them for our TOMBOLA AND RAFFLE PRIZES.
Our next Fund Raising events will be at EASTER.
So please send any unwanted items in to the club or contact Pauline 07929 300453
Please ask family and friends as people like to give to a local charity.
We will be having a stall at The Makers Market, and possibly one on the High St the week after that.
Thank you.
Pauline (Fund Raising TRUSTEE)
Tombola, crafts and cakes
We had a stall on the Makers Market last Saturday with a tombola, crafts and cakes.
Thanks to great support on the day, we made £226.00. This means we have reached our target for Xmas Fund raising and made a total over £1000.00 for Uttoxeter Gateway Club activities.
Thank to Julia, Faye and Sue for baking cakes and Paul and our member David Nadin for helping run the stall.
